About

Hi, I'm Kellie!

I am a certified speech-language pathologist (also known as a "speech therapist" or "SLP") with a deep commitment to helping individuals communicate and thrive. I hold a Bachelor's degree from Wichita State University and a Master's degree from the University of Kansas. With over four years of experience, I’ve had the privilege of serving students in public schools, private schools, and outpatient settings. Today, I own and operate Johnson Speech Therapy LLC, my pediatric speech therapy private practice in Wichita, Kansas. I provide individualized, evidence-based speech, language, and literacy services for children. I specialize in the assessment and treatment of articulation/phonological disorders, language development, social communication, stuttering, and literacy (including dyslexia/reading intervention). I partner closely with families to develop personalized treatment plans that address each child’s unique needs and goals. I believe the best speech therapy is rooted in meaningful relationships, guided by each child's unique strengths and interests, and grounded in evidence-based practice. It is a privilege to come alongside children and their families as they grow in confidence and communication.
